Everyone has a few things that just feel like them. A mug, a jacket, a piece of art nobody else would have picked. Not the expensive things. The odd, specific ones.

Those are your charms, and they are the ones that light up your life.

Dark Charms Studio makes them for walls. Original paintings, hand-painted one at a time, and mostly the strange ones. A safe painting is polite and forgettable. The one with something slightly wrong in it is the one you keep looking at, and it says more about you than anything that matches the couch.

Somewhere along the way art like this got expensive for reasons that had nothing to do with the painting. Gallery rent. Auction fees. A mark-up for standing in a white room feeling underdressed. None of it ever reached the canvas.

So we skipped that part. Real paint, real hands, priced so it can actually end up on your wall.

The studio comes out of thirty years of making things, and thirty years of looking for work worth putting on a wall. Either not finding it, or finding it and not being able to afford it. Nothing goes up that we would not want on our own walls.

Most of it ships rolled in a tube, because sending a stretched canvas across the world costs a fortune and that cost lands straight on the price. Roll it, ship it, stretch it locally, and the painting stays affordable.

And if it is nearly right, it is not yours yet. Change the colour, the size, the whole thing. Say what you want and it gets painted that way.
